How do you know its right for you?
Your dream home is collection of many things including location, personal preferences and budget.  There will be things you can live without and others you can not.  Make a list of your must-haves; number of bedrooms, the need for a garden as well as things you would like but are not deal breakers.

The Role of Estate Agents
It is a good idea to chat to an estate agent as well as searching online, they have access to extensive listings, some not even public.  They will also be able to add you to their mailing list or keep you in mind if a new property becomes available which meets your criteria.

Finding the Best Home for You
Beyond the property itself you should consider the location. Research local communities, schools, amenities, and transportation options. Is it close to your workplace? Can you see yourself in this neighbourhood in the long term?  You should also think about your needs now and in the future, will this property meet them?

Making the Most A House Viewing
House viewing is an integral part of the home-buying process, it is your opportunity to examine the property. Don’t rush, view the house a second time if you feel the need.  Don't be afraid to ask questions.  Most importantly, trust your instincts. If the house doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t.
