‘Let’s talk’

…Wallpaper Ashleigh McAteer RED Interiors ‘Resourceful Eclectic Design’

Happy 2016 everyone!  We are well in to the New Year and through the January Blues…How do you get through the long, cold, wet,
somewhat depressing month of January?  I personally like to conjure up a new task for my dear husband to tackle in our old, ‘always needing work’ home. I then look forward to the benefits it brings!

We left off just before Christmas talking about storage.  We, the ‘Royal We’ got ours sorted just in time to house all the new Star Wars, and Dolls that invaded our house on Dec 25th!

Now that we have storage in place next on my list was to make the room look pretty!  Luckily for me I have a library of wallpaper
books to turn to for that.  Wallpaper is an easy way of adding a feature wall, a touch of glam, a splash of colour, a quirky twist…it can be so versatile.  The tricky part is choosing the right one!  That’s where we come in.  I have had many clients say “I couldn’t have done it without you”. I like to think of it as teamwork!

For anyone who knows my work, you’ll know, that I LOVE colour!  I cannot hide or deny it, it sneaks in every time!  Wallpaper can add colour, texture, and pattern, and will most certainly transform a space in to a uniquely designed environment fit for its purpose.

You may be struggling to sell your house, or struggling to commit to buy.  You may have an office that needs a bit of life…  People need vision and like to see things as they find it hard to imagine them.  Spruce up tired rooms with a couple of rolls of wallpaper and move on your way!  I have included some recent projects to inspire you all.  Some newbie’s and some trusted oldies that we never tire of… the library awaits you J

Handy tip ♥ general rule of thumb – 1 roll of paper gives 3 drops (based on a standard roll 52cm wide x 10m drop, standard ceilings)covering 150cm width of wall. If you need any help you know where to find us.  Until next month, happy papering!!
