"I first became interested in The Grove, Orlando, after a presentation by Elisa Marcoi in autumn 2017.
Three things appealed to me.
1. A means of diversification for investments.

Elisa had all the right information, had personal knowledge of The Grove, and was confident that real life would match the story being told.
The figures seemed to stack up. A competitive unit purchase price for the Orlando/Kissimmee area, very strong rental potential, and every reason for capital growth. And best of all for me, minimal hassle as an owner - The Grove promised none of the significant time commitments and concerns usually associated with owning a foreign property.
I visited The Grove in December 2017 and was extremely impressed with the facilities, the ongoing plans, the management and the location. The deal for a purchase was agreed over a few meetings with management, agents, an accountant, and a real estate firm which told me they couldn’t compete with The Grove! Elisa facilitated the meetings, and I simply turned up.
And all meetings concluded with temperatures of 20c + awaiting outside.
The purchase process and paperwork was straightforward, and with the help of both Elisa and Kevin Eccleston a local accountant, I ran into no last minute problems. The property was completed in April 2018.
With nearly two years now of ownership experience, I can say the following. Rental hits my US bank account every month without fail. A return of 8% is reduced only by the local state taxes of about $5,000 per annum, plus the annual accountancy fee. USA tax laws seem to mean that there will be little or no income tax on the rental income for up to 30 years - good!
I’ve visited The Grove twice as an owner. The welcome is amazing, and I can honestly say it felt special to holiday as an owner. Every aspect of The Grove runs so well - treat it like a 5 star hotel, or treat it like a 5 star self catering apartment, both work magnificently. Outside, the waterpark and other activities mean you may chose less of Disney and Universal, and spend more time at The Grove.
