"I must go down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide
Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied;

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire a portion of the North Down coastline and small part of the historic fabric of Bangor West. Originally an annexed portion of the Thalassa, the main residence in the area in times gone-by, there was a boathouse on the site with concrete slipway, some of which is still in place.
Planning permission was sought for a replacement boathouse/bathing box which was granted on appeal in 2009 but has now lapsed.
There is pedestrian access from Brompton Road via the coastal path.
Whether you are picnicking, bathing or messing about in a boat this is a unique plot from which to relax, listening to the sounds of the sea and observe the aquatic activity and marine traffic.
A map of the area is included within this brochure outlining the site in red for identification purposes only. Further documentation on the plot can be inspected at the offices of Templeton Robinson.
