Ballyhackamore’s longest established estate agency

Ballyhackamore’s longest established estate agency is celebrating a decade of business in the heart of East Belfast, recently rated one of the most thriving property postcodes in the UK. With five branches across the province, Templeton Robinson first opened its Ballyhackamore office in December 2007.

A recent survey by Barclay’s Mortgages confirmed the area’s strong property credentials, reporting a year-on-year 6% rise in local house prices which puts it among the best in the UK. With a growing team of eight dedicated staff managing sales and rentals across the area, Director Neil Templeton said a solid choice of homes, sizes and budgets, outstanding schools and an easy commute to the city centre continued to make the area a strong draw for a variety home buyers.

“Ballyhackamore has always been a popular choice for both young professionals and for families. Over the last decade, we’re delighted to worked closely with a variety of vendors, buyers, landlords and tenants across the area and are pleased to have seen the area continue to thrive. East Belfast as a whole is a highly desirable place to live for buyers seeking a village lifestyle but with quick access to the city.

“The demand for properties in the area is at an all-time high and for good reason with East Belfast consistently providing good value for house buyers. The renaissance of local shopping areas has undoubtedly helped contribute to the continued growth in the area with national firms as well as independent stores, boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops.

“We’ve been a familiar fixture on the Upper Newtownards Road for 10 years already and we look forward to the next decade as Ballyhackamore and East Belfast as a whole continues to shine.”

Beth Robinson, Managing Partner at Templeton Robinson, says the continued success of the Ballyhackamore office and the tenth anniversary caps a successful year for the company, one of Northern Ireland’s longest established property businesses.

“Following a decade of service to the East of the city and the building of a well-deserved reputation as the ‘go-to’ estate agency in the locality and beyond, Neil and the team at Ballyhackamore have every reason to celebrate 10 successful years.

“As we prepare for what looks set to be another busy year in the housing market, particularly post-Christmas, we anticipate that the popularity of East Belfast will continue to grow.

“Neil and his team, with their in-depth knowledge of the area and experience of hundreds of transactions over the past decade, are well placed to continue the excellent service that has been the hallmark of the office since it opened ten years ago.”
